Fender Tags, why?

This would be just fine on my old ‘Cuda.

There are more options that make a BH have more value.

A21 Front colored bumper
A22 Front and rear colored bumpers
D21 4 speed A833
V02 Two tone paint
A67 Barracuda rear louver package
A44 challenger rear louver package
A54 71 colored bumper package
M51 Sunroof package Could be M99*** VON if no M51 on tag.

Multiple Y codes add value. Too many special order cars to list. Rarities.

I've been working on picking up a hertz rental 71 bh car for some years now. Still trying to pick that one up. Rental package.

Technically, I think someone could have purchased an N96 package with the 383-4 N code on a BH. Never seen it and it isn't ever talked about but appears to be possible through the ordering sheets. Can someone show me paperwork that says this is not available on BH N code cars?

The fender tag is like the birth certificate for a mopar. While a slant 6 car may be more desirable in its modified form with a new engien and color combo, the fender tag demonstrates how far it has advanced from when it was built. Certainly not a deal breaker for the circumstance in the OP's case, but it is kind of cool to see what it was before.

Agree for the most part. The Broadcast Sheet is more like the birth certificate and the Fender Tag is like a Driver’s License. Tag has most of the info but not all.

The “What” in “What is this car?” requires documentation and paperwork to legitimize it. If you do not care about legitimacy, that is your prerogative.

The hobby has a mixture of both documented and undocumented cars but documented cars demand more $. The real argument should be about why value is a main focus versus enjoyment of ownership and the happiness a particular car brings you. The $ value means far less to me than the value of owning these cars.

Broadcast sheet is certainly better, but not many of those have survived. Nearly every mopar has a fender tag.

I forgot this one.
A93 Coupe option

My 71BHG is an A93 car.
It has a list of unique items on that car option only.
The 71 A93 has a few options unique to 71 only, varying from the 70 A93.

The little code book calls out rubber flooring in this option but as I have been told (read) , there was no molded ebody rubber floor.
I would so like to see that not be the case.
