Finish of bracket under center console

Guys,

- Was I supposed to somehow form the carpet around the bracket? Would have been a pain.
- Is the bracket supposed to be painted black?
- Or supposed to be body color (as I have it currently)

Of course I should have asked before I cut the carpet.......

?

Body color and sometimes half painted with overspray.
You shift boot is riding a little high. Missing the T in hurst.

I just fogged mine black prior to putting in the carpet.I also put dynomat down as it’s not an original build. It probably had some body color overspray (not much) on mine anyway. Does the console look good lining up through the gears?

Thanks guys.....it's mostly hidden by the console, but being FYI you can really see the yellow coming through the gap between the boot and the console.

Was wanting to know what the factory did originally in the console area.
