Front bumper tuck 73 Challenger

When doing the front bumper tuck, I've read that the heavy steel reinforcement bar from behind the front bumper is not use.
Is that true? also, anyone with more advice on slotting the brackets etc. I would really appreciate your help. thanks

When I did mine back in 84 I think it removed 80 lbs from the car eliminating the front & rear double bumpers & rubber extensions , I thought I used 70 mounts as they were not hard to find but I doubt the bolt holes line up with the bumper correctly , you just have to get creative with fitting the mounts further back . On the rear I recall sectioning the beam & just using about 8" on each side to hold the bumper.
