Glove box lock removal

Working on 70 Challenger, how do I get lock assembly out of glove box? Thanks

Thanks for all the help on glove box lock, Snoopy particularly. This is almost the last thing I have taken apart on this car.

The lock has to be in the locked position to remove the cylinder , there is a small window & you have to push in a retainer to release the cylinder . this is relatively easy if you have a key

No wonder I couldn't get mine apart without destroying it. (No key)

If you take the glove box door to a locksmith they can easily pick the lock so it can be removed .
I have been working on and off as a locksmith most of my life
