Hello from Vienna/Austria: 1970 Barracuda

Nice car.

What does the dash vin tag say compared to the plate?
Same as plate 8 in place of B

It is a beautiful Cuda' Congratulations on a great find. I hope you get to drive and enjoy it very soon. I know what you mean about the inspection. In 1980 I was in the US Army and took my 1979 Corvette to Germany. The inspection was crazy and the inspector had no sense of hummer.

It has a H so would it be a 340 car? If so why BH not BS? Were the VIN tags screwed into the dash pad when new or was the dash pad replaced at some point?

I found the "amag" website in Switzerland. Not sure if you know, but you can register your Barracuda there as the current owner of a car exported and built at the factory! Cool website

I think so

No.
Are there no records of any broadcast sheet or any buildsheet being supplied with these 08 exports?
Assuming because they were built from ordered parts that the importing country purchased and installed themselves. Therefore no need for a buildsheet.

@Joerg

Since you own a "knock down" unit you may be interested in learning a ton of information about how your type of car came to be.
Check out this group on fakebook that was created by Ola. Lots to learn here.
