WTB Hemi Cuda Emblems

the reproductions ($70/each) of these are quite good. You may get some offers purporting N.O.S. when they are, in fact, reproduction. It's not always easy to tell them apart.

I believe this set on epay (https://www.ebay.com/itm/267131950199) is NOT genuine NOS, but hard to tell because the pictures are dark. I'm pretty sure the good repros and originals had a brush finish, but these epay ones appear polished.

The repop is killing the NOS market. What is a true nos emblem worth? Are the repro satin finish facees correct?
Thought I had 2, could only find one.

Yes, I agree the repros killed the NOS market for these. I always looked for the part number and penastar. Also the correct brushed finish.

I am not really up to date on the repop emblems, maybe someone will chime in on the subtle differences?

Thanks

the point I am making, is some of the repops have no flaws I can detect, to distinguish them from an OEM/NOS. Some have the brush finish, casting number, pentastar, the works. I'm also saying if you can live with that, that it's a fine repop, those go for under $75 from several sources.

I didn't know the repos were that close to the real thing. I have not had one in my hand recently. I know the originals are very stiff and not bendable, but the repos are made of a softer metal and can bend.

then it may depend on the maker of the emblem, because I have never seen any repro that bend... at least, not easily. I'm not too interested in testing that theory, because many of them will just snap in two. good luck with your search.
