Holley Sniper EFI, can I run the MSD6AL with their hyper spark distributor

Looking at buying the Holley Sniper EFI system and also adding their Holley Hyper spark distributor so I could adjust the timing through the Sniper control module. I already have a CD box on my car, MSD6AL, and I was wondering if I would be able to adjust the timing through the Sniper module as they advertise.
My main question is can I keep the MSD box or do I have to buy the Holley Hyper spark CD box? Thanks in advance.
