Hey gang, I just could not install the 1 inch repop body plugs in my E body, just way too tight … and I am not going to modify the car. So, my invention. You need PVC pipe and fittings as shown. On the union, hack saw out a groove in just the right place and just the right depth, (not too deep!). Hold assembled tool snugly in vice, lubricant 1 inch body plug with di-electric grease an install plug. Lay in blade as shown and turn the plug with the palm of your hand while pushing the blade into the groove. This may take a couple of plug revolutions to complete. If done carefully, the results are a nicely cut groove around the plug body as shown. Install by wedging one side of the plug into the body sheet metal, push until it pops into the groove, then work it around with your palm. I like this tool, it works nice but I can’t keep this invention to myself,.. I offer the concept to you all for free

I used a 3/8 drive socket and extension to lever with light wipe silicon grease. 1/2 deep IIRC
