Looking for information on original wiper blade holders and have found conflicting info online. I have several pairs of NOS wiper blades. Anco 16" satin finish. Some pairs have a black plastic button to release it from the wiper arm, some have a stainless spring clip. Both have a black plastic button to disassemble the holder to replace the rubber blade. Most have US and Canada patent numbers on them, a few have no patent numbers. Some vendors show the stainless clip style fitting 68-74 A B and E. Some vendors show stainless clip fitting 71-74 B and 70-74 E. One person told me the black button is pre 70 and the stainless clip is post 70? All of the rubbers are marked Anco w/patent number, none are marked turtle back. So what's what? What is the value? I see some pretty steep prices for NOS. Thanks in advance.

Your parts may not be NOS, in that they were actual Chrysler-issued parts. But they may very well be vintage new parts by Anco.

Wiper blades are among the more commonly replaced parts, just like air and oil filters. So having "original" ones is not an easy claim to make. That said, I saved the ones on a driver I've owned for 45 years, and I recently looked these over a month or two ago, to answer similar questions about "original wiper blades" and took some notes. But it's hard to sday if they were the actual OEM issue.

From my notes, and referring to the metal parts of the assembly, they do NOT bear the Anco stamp, nor do they have the black release button. But, from memory, the center pin release looks like the all-metal tab in your images. When I get some time, I'll dig these out and take some images. The black rubber blade parts of these assemblies are worn to a degree that there were no discernable markings on the blades. I seem to recall replacing the black rubber blades-only, because I was cheap and even back then, would have wanted to retain the original metal parts as OEM.

I don't know if mine are factory or not, but I believe they are. My wiper blades use the rubber cartridge for replacement and not the whole wiper blade. There is no button or tab to press on mine. In order for my wiper blades to release from the wiper arm I have to lift up on both sides to release the internal spring clip so I can slide the wiper blade off of the wiper arm stud.
