inner fender spacing on 71 Challenger

Wonder if anyone can help me out. Replacing inner fenders on my 71, they were replaced before and I believe the firewall brackets are not in the exact right position. One is original, so I have a datum. I need the distance between the fender wells right at the firewall. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot. Glad I asked! I was figuring 48 1/2". The car came to me at 48 1/4".
