Just bought a Mopar Carter Carb from a guy

I just bought it because I always like to buy any parts and put them up for later, but was wondering what the #'s on the Carb was K 43 63.

LOL, I just brought it into the light and the #'s are k74966S. Just trying to figure out the age, and it's a 4 barrel Carter AVS

Yep, that's right, in fact I was looking for that carb most of last winter for a `71 Chatger R/T a couple of buddies and I were restoring. Is it in good shape?

It needs rebuilt, I just bought it from a guy that had a bunch of random parts from different makes and models. I just pick up all Mopar stuff I see, if it's working or not.

I'm guessing it needs a rebuild because it was in a pile of Carburators, I'm sure it needs one, but the parts all look good.
