The following images show the battery hold down J-bolts with a measuring tape to see the lengths.

These first two images are of a pair that I ordered and bought from a Chrysler dealer in the 1980s. The shorter one arrived with a different finish than the expected black and a slightly different shaped hook.

These next two images are of a reproduction pair that I bought from Year One in 1995. The hook is different than stock, and they have no coating on the metal, so they rust easily:

Thanks, that helps.
I have some NOS one that I bought back in the late 80's at the local Dodge dealer.
The long ones that I have measures 8-5/8" overall. Part # 2074089
The short ones I have measures 7-1/8" overall. Part # 2534814
They all have the black finish and have the style hook like the top one in your pictures.
I was just trying to find out if they were correct for a e-body.

Part numbers 2074089 and 2534814 are what I have, although the 2534814 I received is different in shape and finish than others, but was likely a supplier substitution at the time.

Part numbers 2074089 and 2534814 are correct for an E-body and other car lines too. The following images show the listings from the 1970-1971, 1972, and 1973 parts catalogs. The second column is E-body.

Thanks for the reply. That's a typo on my part.
I will update it, as I should have typed 2534814 and not 253484
Someday I will learn to proof read before sending....
