Hey guys,
finally I am a proud owner of a 70s J-code Challenger R/T.
The car is on its way over the big lake but I allready know that the original black carpet nearly completely faded into brown under californian sun.

So I am looking for a high quality replacement but the bigger the choice, the harder is it to choose.

Can you Mopar guys give me an advice where and what to buy?
There are black and charcoal carpets offered but I dont know whats original?
Though about that one:
1970 DODGE CHALLENGER 6.3L 383cid V8 Flooring | RockAuto
What do you think?
I also red about dye ....but I dont know.

Thanks in advance!

I have installed carpet kits from ACC and TRIMPARTS, INC. Both companies make a nice carpet kit. A couple months ago I ordered a TRIMPARTS carpet kit from Summit Racing ($159.97). Also purchased Lloyd classic loop floor mats from Summit. I chose TRIMPARTS because some members said it was a good carpet kit, made in the USA, and a Mopar licensed authentic restoration product.

Hey guys,

thanks for your replies.
I try to order a carpet on the ACC page now.
Does it make any difference if I choose a "mass backed" carpet or the regular one?
Besides in my wallet?
Have someone installed one before?

Make sure the carpet is well aligned before you cut the recoil seat belt holes behind the front seats you may need the plastic buckets
