Yeah, it will be a couple of weeks before I can even arrange shipment and then a few more weeks before it arrives. I have pics of hood closed and everything fits but the mechanic saying that the air filter had to be cut was fishy. I spoke to Elena(?) over at Indy heads and one of their techs Kenny will be looking into it. I will be making a thread about it. Haven't started to search on here so not doing my own diligence on that...

Here's a couple of pics I got. I didn't know the extent of Mopar engineering until this purchase. Very meticulous... There's a few things missing like the resonators and I'm still learning what else under the dash, hood etc. needs to be fixed or replaced to original.
Because of the air filter mod, I don't know how much of the warm/cold air door is missing. There's no vent handle so that's the first thing I want to get in to and therefore, fix the air filter.

I was very surprised at the little cool things like that on this car regardless that it is missing. I grew up in the '80's and the cars were pretty lame and tame comparably.

That’s a good looking ‘Cuda👍🏻

Welcome to the forum, also from Honolulu, HI with a ‘71 ‘Cuda Black with Hemi :)
Chee!

If you going out after this weather, lmk. Would love fo’ see um.

If you know someone with Hemi engine building experience, lmk please. The engine is not running right so I’m gonna pull it and figure out some things. (Gen III or rebuild this one).

Engine was fine but I drove it on the freeway going slow but it started knocking. Turns out it is a race engine so that wasn’t a good idea. I will tear it apart hoping to salvage it but I wasn’t in love with the Hemi to begin with. If it’s too far gone, I’ll go with a gen III crate, if it’s fixable, I’ll take it in to Snyder’s or RK’s and rebuild it.
