hello from los angeles,i have a 71 challeger that i`ve had for a long time,i run this mother hard and it`s a beauty.never really cared for restored cars that get pampered or so called corect cars.these cars are boring you get no stop light to stop light adrenaline going `cos you`re about to blow away a 350z,thats were the fun is we`re the ones that keep the legend alive,we put the scare into the new cars and imports.ground up resto`s are like having a new toy in a box that you can`t open for fear of getting it dirty.run `em hard people walk the walk let`s rock!!!!

Welcome aboard!

Good philosophy, but I guess it's all in the mind of the owner. I've done those ground up restos and then watched the owner flog 'em. I will agree with you: cars are meant to be driven.

welcome knickerbocker, another point of view, anybody can add parts to go fast, with a correct car resto you go fast the way the factory intended , not to mention the monetary return
