Polishing Door/ Quarter Glass ON the Vehicle

My door glass and quarter glass is in nice condition, but there are markings/ scuffs in the glass itself.
I would like to have it polished out, but not sure if someone can actually do it on the car- as the glass is so hard to align, etc.

Any ideas?

Do it right. Take out the glass. It is not that hard. Just takes a little patience and no money.

If you can feel it with your finger-nail....it really needs replacing.
