OK. Maybe a stupid question to you tech guru's out there.

When I jack up the rear end of the Barracuda and spin one tire, what should the other side be doing if it's a sure grip?

What about limited slip? What should the opposite side be doing then?

Hi ya. I am not an expert but, If you have a sure grip, with both tires off the ground, if you spin one side the other tire will spin the same direction and speed.
An open rear end will do nothing or turn the opposite direction. A limited slip... I though it would act the same as a sure grip... Others will post and let us know.

Mopar speak is Sure Grip, not limited slip or posi. Turn one side, the other side will turn in the same direction.

Thank you Sir. Looks like I have an non Sure Grip. Would this be called limited slip in a Mopar??? Or is there another term for it?

If it is a non-sure grip, it's just called an open gear or conventional diff. A limited slip is just a broader term in the industry for a sure grip, posi, etc.
