Hi, I've replaced the positive battery cable with a reproduction one for my 1970 Challenger 318. I want to make sure I have the red and black pigtail wires connected to the correct locations on the small square (solenoid?) on the fender well just to the right of the battery. Could someone post a picture?

Thanks Challenger RTA, MoparCarGuy, and EW1BH27. The diagrams and pictures are a tremendous help.

For EW1BH27, Is the starter relay location the correct factory position on your 1970 Challenger? Also is it the factory style relay?

It is the correct location for my 1970 Barracuda (BH27) and AFAIK it’s a factory relay. It was put on my car back in the 80’s so very hard to remember.
