thinking of putting my 452s back on a B block, came off a 440. I need schooling on the Mopar valvetrain ie: how are they adjusted with the fixed rockers, do i have to measure for new pushrods? I have a set of 270 trick flows, rockers are adjustable so just measured for pushrod length and set the lash, thats easy. Just dont know how to do factory rockers.

With the factory stamped rocker arms and hydraulic lifters, the pushrod length from the factory was 8.575". (Side note: 1967 and down 383 engines had a smaller ball end on the lifter side and the lifters were different to accommodate the pushods). The hydraulic lifters "adjust" the valvetrain automatically.
