quality of aftermarket shaker hoods

trying to replace parts that were previously scavenged off my car, when it was under previous ownership . Ive tried to buy back the shaker hood and shaker that came off my car and the guy who has it refuses to sell it and is holding on to it for a future project . I've ordered an AMD shaker hood and am hopeful it is true to the originals . Ive already tracked down a shaker and a base . Does anyone have any experiance with the AMD hood ? pros or cons ? I could not get one with hood pin holes so Ill have to modify the inner and outer skin myself

I have one of the AMD shaker hoods and it is still boxed. I did, however, take it out and inspect it, and I was really impressed how much alike it is to the original.

You are correct, no hood-pin holes. We gotta drill em if we want em
