Is the rubber weatherstrip affixed to the door by just the clips and screws or is it also glued into place? If also glued, what is the preferred adhesive?

The door weatherstrip is affixed only by the clips and the screws on the end cap. If needed to tighten up an ill fitting area, a small amount of weatherstrip adhesive can be added as needed.

The roof rail weatherstrip is cemented in a few spots. The spots are shown in the service manual.

If needed, I've had great success with E6000 for rubber seals and metal.
