Do 6 cylinder, small block and big block cars have different size openings in the front where the radiator sits?

Yes. The biggest opening came on a/c cars.

Well my engine guy told me to cut some metal off the sides cause its blocking some of the radiator. But I don't want to cut or modify anything.

If you don't want to modify anything it ,what are you willing to do? Do you have a fan shroud ? Clutch type fan ?
