During the restoration of my 73 Cuda reverse light indicator for the 4 speed was misplaced. I have a new one however I am at a loss on how the wire is routed. I cannot find it in the factory manual. I do know that it is powered off of the fuse in cavity 8 , and at the bulk head connector the switch from the tranny goes to pins 7 and 8. Looking at used indicator lights on ebay it would appear that the single wire goes thru a gromment in the firewal to the engine compartment.
Any help would be appreciated

Update - after further review of the factory manual it would appear that the indicator light is tapped in to pin 7 on the bulk head connector ????

After sorting through the factory manual and restoration photos I have solved the issue. The back up indicator wire black with tracer runs through a grommet on the firewall near the bulk head connectors.
The wiring harness for the transmission switch has a connector attached to plug in the wire from the indicator light. The back up harness plugs into pins 7 and 8 on the bulk head connector.
