On by 70 Barracuda, the sail panels is falling off. The driver side is missing. How is the top of the panel secured? the front and rear of the panel is covered by the metal moldings and the bottom is under the plastic rear panel. the top is not secured to anything. Is something missing? Thanks.

When I did mine. I made them out of a plastic material. There were 3 clips that held that held it in place. Not sure about Barracuda. The hole might be there to use the clips.

I went out a took a picture of the sail panel in my 71 Barracuda to show the coat hook holding the top. the sides and bottom are helped held in place by the interior trim/mouldings and the rear side panel. So except in the case of warped ones, they fit in there pretty snug.

Thanks. I think I will install the coat hooks.
