Seat belt clasp not holding

I ordered new seat belts from PG Classics. The driver side clasp will not lock the belt together and is very loose. I reached out to Classic but the person there was not sure whether it can be adjusted. This is the clasp that releases the belt.

Can the spring tension be adjusted on seat belt clasps?

I thought about my answer for awhile. And in the back of my mind, I kept hearing, "this is a safety device that could save your life down the road." I know it's PITA, but send the belt back and get another one that works correctly. Actually PG Classics should send you a free shipping label to return their defective part.

that is not something that can be adjusted. seek a refund. or replacement. but you may have to send the whole set back for replacement. I don't think PG makes these, they resell them.
