Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and was hoping for some help with a power steering setup for my '70 Challenger. I just picked the car up last week and it currently does not have power steering but it looks like most of the components are there. From what I know (which is very limited) and can see it looks like I just need to add fluid and pick up a belt. Is there something else I am missing? Anything I need to check first? Anything else I should get a picture of for more help/info?

If your lucky thats all you need to do. Theres probably some reason why theres no belt on it. Unless it was just put together there should be fluid in it. May have a leak or bad pump??? just a guess

Thing must be a bear to drive like that.

The easiest way to check for leaks or one of the components being bad is to throw a belt on it, fill it, and test it.
