Still working on my 73 column, seems like a lot of small issues that I do not see being discuss. I purchased a signal switch from Roseville, two things that are different from original. The contact for the horn sw, which I knew about, and the stem for the signal arm. The stem has a slot cut into the back side (see photos) from the factory the slot has a wide taper cut. The replacement has a narrow straight cut, the stock arm does not mate to this part. Roseville says they have sold hundreds of these, so I can't be the first one to see this. I'm thinking I will have to modify the new switch stem to accept the arm. Has anyone delt with this??
Also I had two key buzzer switches that appeared to be good, but tested bad. These switches are riveted together from the factory. On line they are very pricey, at least the ones I found. I took both mine apart, cleaned the contacts and put back together. The issue is the rivet, which you could probably replace with a very small screw. I only drilled the drilled the bead off the rivet and reused it with some JB plastic welded both sides of the rivet when putting it back together (see photo). It seems solid and I don't think it will be an issue. Is this switch available anywhere at a reasonable price?
