After installing a new trunk floor, quarter panels, and trunk extensions on my 70 'Barra I hung the gas tank and cut the hole for the filler tube. My silly question is, when pushing the tube thru the rubber gromet that seals it to the trunk floor, does the round part that the tube slides through stay pushed down to the fuel tank or does it point up toward the filler opening? Maybe some one could go take a look at there car for me.
