What year or car? Style varies from year to year and car to car. I'm having 71 leather buckets in my 71 Cuda because I dislike stock vinyl upholstery.

Looking for seat covers that someone would sell? Around here we start a Parts wanted thread.

Legendary is the best place for upholstery. They are usually 6 months out with their orders but worth the wait.

I've gotten Legendary seat covers for A, B and C-Bodies and have only one complaint. The waiting for delivery. But they are worth it! Install easy and look like factory.

I have a 71 barracuda convertible and went directly to Legendary Interiors and opted for leather seats. Leather is only available for the front seats so got vinyl in the black. I also purchased the matching seat foam for all seats. They said they will be ready by March 2025

For those who ordered from Legendary did you also order the padding and did you install them yourself or hire out. Im pretty handy but have never worked with leather seats before.

My original seat foam was in good shape so I just reused it. When I ordered the covers my intention was to put them on myself. I got a hog ring kit from Amazon, and years ago I had some experience doing seat covers. My wife talked me out of it and I had a local guy do them for me.

I purchased from Legendary for my 72 Challenger. So far the rears are done, I need to rebuild the front drivers before they get finished.

I got front seat foams and vinyl covers for my 70 challenger. Did them myself. Not hard at all. Back seat had cotton padding, and covers. Rear seats were easy.

Everyone says Legendary is the best, but a good upholstry shop should be able to make most anything work well.

True. Most upholstery shops can make you seat covers that look really good. But in my experience, few of them can make them so they look factory original. And you won't always know what you're getting until after the shop finishes, and is asking you to pay.

Legendary has a solid reputation for make great quality stuff that looks pretty darn original. If you want the factory look, go with someone proven.

I agree! 70 Cuda bucket seats have three different types of grain in their construction! I seriously doubt a local upholstery shop would be able to match all three grains. I don't know what year and model you're working on, but if you're wanting them to look factory that is something to keep in mind.

I’m currently trying to decipher what year seats cores I have. (My first E-Body)

These are the only numbers I see molded in the inside of the seat back.

Can anyone tell from this part number?

I did on my 66. The blue seat above was in good skape and the shop that installed them rebuilt it all.
