@440WB

Mo E bodyman provided me with a fender tag for L0B128722 that is FY1 yellow.
I had not seen anything about the ev2 he mentioned above. He mentioned it but didn't have pictures.
Can you link me to that page you found? I would be glad to research that to it's end.

The first picture is an unknown fy1 pic that has been on the web for years. Painted the wrong color. No one has verified what vin that car is.
The second picture is "Dutch", a member that made his own scoops, put the strobes on and painted the car it's own color of yellow. He was in the Netherlands as I recall. It had none of those options originally. He sold the car and was never to be seen again. He made amazing metal works.
The third picture, was first received by Gordon, the owner of G0B113387. Long story on this one. Including some updating from his son on a thread either here or over on ebodies.org. I thought that those scoops were from his car but were actually not from his car as per his son. They were from a car he pulled/purchased the scoops from. Then I purchased those scoops from him and currently own them. Gordon had a pair of Harm's reproduction scoops and I do not know what happened with them as his car was fully pulled apart and then sold around here and there, lost to the list.

I have just found this thread from 2006 -

Barracuda M46 - Moparts Forums
Al: Does your early production M46 car have any signs of the original striping that separates the body color(FC7 in your case) from the black paint below the striping? The Sept. edition of the 1970 parts book lists two possible stripings for these M46 cars. One is the more common tomato red with the fluorescent white underneath it.

The person to speak to about these is a guy named Dwight Rindt. He is probably the closest thing to an expert on these as you will find. I just hope whoever is making the repo's is a reputable vendor and not some fly-by-night outfit. A few have talked about making them but im concerned about how accurate those people will make them. Good luck!!!

Well, kind of old. I post once in a while over on moparts.
I didn't post much over there as the guys were just ass holes , especially to the younger generation that didn't/doesn't just know mopar stuff because we didn't grow up with them.
It has changed some. Not as many ass holes over there any longer, I think they died.
Here is my latest post on moparts. respectully, of course.

I will try those. I do like to use duckduckgo and google. But google has gotten almost useless.
I don't have much luck with Bing but will try again.
Thanks for pointing me to those search engines.

That was a great thread.
I met Al due to that post.
Then I met Vlad due to that post.
I also followed Jeff968 from that thread to the car he spoke of, BH23N0B161736 (below)
From this same thread I began talking to Rex and many many years later purchased by beast BH23N0B113376.
This is also the thread where I learned of the reproduction scoops from Harms. I did happen to pick up one set from him.
Unfortunately, as you may have read the thread devolved to B body stuff. And no one replied to me as I typically get no where with the moparts guys.

I was actually Cuda Hunter on CC.com right around 2000 as that is when I started "hunting" the barracuda's. It took me a few years before I fell in love with the M46. Mostly just due to liking scooped cars. I love the look!
Bought my first cuda in 2004 for 5K. rusted bucket from pennsylvania, V21 car but no tag or broadcast sheet. Hence the reason I pretty much won't buy a cuda without a tag.
Maybe I should register that name up anyway.....

@440WB Or anyone.
Send me anything you like. I will follow every word that I can. You never know where the next registry entry will come from.
For that matter, on the Moparts thread that I linked above, Ole Berry says he has 50 M46's on his "private" registry. But that's all I get, I assume he has my 34 and another 16 broadcast sheets that people have sent him, for free, to hide away in a cabinet and not let any knowledge be learned from his "free" personal (inside crew?) information.

I can relate to Moparts - was one of my first sites to join and learn from back in 2003 -

a few members were very 'Adamant Satirical Spite' Holes Thus ass holes
would sometimes get slammed to say wrong thing in not knowing? almost like a few were just waiting for the opportunity -

l last engaged on Moparts in 2023 - due to life and work sometimes is hard to find time.
still are some great guys over there -
