Top of defrost ductwork

On both sides of duct, there are clips for screws. What goes there?

??? The screws go in from the top. Right through the dash pad.

Yes they do but not through the pad. Look at the top of your dash pad, there are two holes at each end of the defrost outlets for the screws.

I just seen them. If it was a snake it would of bit me. Thank you.. Been almost 8 years since I tore it apart.
