I am putting my 73 challenger back together and have fogotten how to install the trunk lid weatherstripping. Does anyone have any pictures of where it goes and the direction in which it goes on the car. I have tried to figure it out but I looks like it could go on two different ways and I dont want to mess it up. I will be posting pics of the cars progress from beginning to end under restorations topics later. Thanks Doug

The raised tab portion of the weatherstripping faces outboard which should have the thinner edge that is glued down to the body facing the same way. The thicker portion of the weatherstripping that is glued down would then be towards the inboard side. The weatherstripping should also be installed with the joint centered at the bottom of the deck lid with ends trimmed to overlap .25". Apply adhesive to butt surfaces and install under compression to provide a watertight joint. This is taken from the 1973 Dodge Body Service manual. I am also rebuilding a 73! Good luck!
