trunk molding differences?

Are the aluminum trunk moldings on the ends of the quarters different for a 70 challenger than other years? I have a reproduction that sticks out past the quarter panel.

I know the shape of a 1970 is different to a 1971.
But they should all fit the same.
Someone else will hopefully give more info.

The trunk lid and quarter panel molding fitment is the same. But the 70 profile is smooth and the 71 profile has a groove in it.

So there you go. They are the same...only different.

But 70 is one year only

I seen some challenger with the wrong molding and I have to tell the owners that they have the wrong molding on their cars,and they did it know that the moldings are different.

On the picture you can see left 71-74 have a lip all around on the outer section, 70 is smooth with no lip right

I tried a repop one time it was way off on the length. There are probably better ones out now
