Small stint USN. Boiler Tech USS FairfaxCounty LST-1193. Amphibious tank landing ship. Looking at water for months at a time was not what I considered fun but taught me discipline and punctuality.

Have not been on here awhile. Sorry. I am restoring Military (Vietnam Era Jeeps) called M-151's that were made and in Service from 1960-1988, until they were replaced by the HMMWV. I was in the Marines from 1984-2012. Semper Fi by brothers in arms.

I drove a M-151 in the Army. F-ing things have 12 u-joints! I could never keep the u-joints, or wheel bearings happy. Probably hurt them from fording water.

Marines,1997 to 2005,Transport duty. With my choice,It was either end up going through the wrong direction in life head in the right direction. It changed my life around very well making the right choices. My parents were proud of me too, they watched me sign the papers. They know I still sound like a Marine, use of foul language is one of them

12 u-joints. lol Seems like 36 sometimes lol. I have 3 M-151's. 3 times the work to keep them running.

I still remember boot camp,I was in a bed with a very spoiled rich girl.I was on bottom and she was on top.I was one of two that to warn her get up,said she needed more bed time.Well she got a surprise,D.I. pushed her out of bed screaming in her face. The D.I in your face, didn't yell out yes ma'am out loud enough, inches away from my face saying I can't hear you.
