will this set up work

have a 1972 challenger, want to put on 17 x 8 rims with a 4 1/2 backspacing. want to run 245/45/17 tires, all stock suspension,
will this set up work. thanks for your input

Have you checked with the wheel manufacturer yet for their advice ? If they are one of the major companies out there, their tech dept should be able to tell you what does and doesn't work. I would try them first. But maybe someone out there has tried this combo before. Good luck.

I'm getting ready to install 15 in.x 10 in., 5 x 4.5 in. Bolt Circle, 5 in. Backspace Chrysler Rallyes I found from the Mopar Shop website for $181.95 each (Wheel Vintiques) with BFG Radial T/A's (275/60/15) on the rear of my stock '70 Challenger R/T. Can anyone verify that they will fit good and not rub?

Yeah it'll be fine.
I run the same size fronts and 18X9 rears with 285/45 on my 72 and it's perfect.

What backspace are you running to fit those 285/45's under there....fenders rolled?? Thanks
