What does the undercarriage of a properly restored 71 Challenger look like?

Is the entire underside painted body color?

Interested in photos of restored and unrestored undercarriage if anyone had and can post.

I think the factory just had overspray on the bottom...

If you did not order the factory undercoating, I believe rk is correct, there would be the factory dip coating and primer; then over spray from the car getting painted. The inner fenders and the rear wheel wells did get undercoated.

This is what my non-undercoated floor looked like after a minor cleanup. (Car was in storage since 1984) You can see the primer and some of the over spray.
Mine had factory blackout under the sills on a Y1 painted car.

So factory primer is grey with some overspray and blackout in wheel wells.

Was undercoating factory or dealer installed? Called out on broadcast sheet?
