For me on OER parts, I have had a few issues with there quality. Some of their parts are nice but other parts I wasn't impressed.

Welcome to the site from the Motor City! How about some details about your car?
Thank you,

My car is a 1970 Challenger RT. It was my father's car he bought it brand new from the dealership in St.Thomas Ontario. He owned the car his entire life. He passed unexpectedly two years ago. He started to restore the car over 30 years ago but did not finish it. The car has been in his barn for 30 years. I am currently restoring the car at the same shop my father did by the same body man almost 30 years ago. The body man is a metal surgeon restoring classic cars for many years and is now my father in law.

The car is a original 1970 Challenger RT. Sublime green with black vinyl hard top. 383 magnum 3 speed auto car. My father blew up the original engine so it is not numbers matching and the block is gone. I found a 383 hp block that is close to date correct a few months late. I am a diesel mechanic and me and my son are going to rebuild the engine together while my father in law is going to restore the car. My plans is to keep the car original just like my dad had it. Upgrade the engine to increase hp. This one for you dad love you.

Thanks, bad news on the good is it rotten underneath at the hood supports. He sand blasted and it has rusted throughout the brackets and bracing. Also concern rust might come through the under side of bracing that you can't reach.

With warmer weather, swaps aren't too far away. Maybe not get in a rush, considering restoration steps. Look for an OEM. ?

Welcome to the site from Arkansas!
I’ve used many AMD parts, no major issues to date.

Great story brother. I am another Challenger dude from Ontario, South of Ottawa. Got a few Mopars actually. I came aboard here to get some help with a 71 R/T project thats been to hell and back and try and get a line on some original parts for this high optioned dealer car. Good luck to you on putting your dad's R/T back together. And you can let me know if you are looking for some parts as I have a couple of good contacts in Quebec.. which is where half my cars and parts come from. Cheers. Jimmy G.
