Good morning fellow mopar owners. Bought a 72 Plymouth Barracuda last august and am aggressively reconditioning it.

What is the paint code? Did it have stripes originally?

The Plate that is supposed to identify the options isn't in the engine bay. I am the 3rd owner. @nd owner didn't ask the question to the original owner. This is a horrible mistake on his part. I am trying to keep the car as pure as I can with stock options...I know it's a high end model. B23G

Meadow gold. Engine bay is black which is incorrect. I matched the door jams exactly.

That's alright. With a car that nice there is a good chance that the build sheet is in one of the seats or behind the glove box.

I am swapping it for a 340. 318 pushes out a measley 150 HP. I have found a 73 340-1. It's awaiting machine shop.

just looked. Felt behind the housing wall. nothing.

The 73 340 were anemic also , you could probably build 360 stroker for less than fixing the 340
