Hi. I am trying to install my cruise control/directional arm in the steering column. The white nylon plug will not go through the small square hole in the column housing?? Do I have to pull those wires out of the nylon plug and insert them first and then install the plug after?? Seems odd. Anybody have experience taking the lever in and out. When I removed it, the plug was cut off so the wires just pulled up through. Now I am trying to install it with the plug and that seems to big to go through?? I know I can just take the wires out of the nylon plug and run them and then reconnect the plug, but I am curious if I have the right plug or is this and issue that nobody talks about?? I checked cuda cody and I don't see where he mentions this. He just talks about the directional arm with no wiring for cruise??
