Looking for some suggestions to replace shocks on my newly acquired 72 Cuda with 340. Going to keep it stock and lean more toward ride comfort rather than performance. Not for racing (or at least not much :) )

Seeing some poo-poo the KYB's and indications that they are a little stiff. Cost not a big issue but I'm sure there are diminishing returns.

Thanks,

Bilstiens or QA1 adjustable shocks. As I've posted before, there is a reason race teams have their own shock absorber sub-team, it's a key component in handling. The good shocks allow stiffness adjustment on both compression and expansion.

Koni shocks are good also. They are adjustable.

Went with the Koni's also. They are adjustable but not with a valve on the side so they appear more stock. Will have to repaint mine from red to black when the time comes.

The Bilstien Shocks give a nice ride. I’m pretty happy with them on my stock 70 Fish 🌴

All that being said. what are the part numbers of the shocks you bought?

I can't remember the part numbers but I know I got them easily from the Koni website.
