Yes, in attached garage. I'm doing every except paint, a local shop will spray it for me. I do primer painting, etc in the garage (door open)

It's coming along nice. You'll be painting before too long
Been a while since an update, that doesn't mean I haven't been working on it. Every weekend and many weeknights. The tedious part is the inside of everything (doors, hood, trunk, underside of car, etc.), sure took much longer than I expected. The good news it's off to the painter while I work on a new shaker hood. Hopefully back in a few months.

On a 71, wouldn't the vinyl top trim use the welded pin style clip vs the 70 screw on clip?

Yes, but the 70 style are easier to install and find. Also heard the 71 plastic clips are garbage.
