convertible a pillar moulding

Are you wanting the piece between the black steel upper corner and the dash? If so, a hardtop piece will work. You just cut it to fit.
 
I don't think that is accurate. The screw holes in the hardtop piece are not in the same location as a convertible piece. You would have to cut it, drill new holes and fill the old holes.
 
There are two different screw hole patterns. I believe the earlier 70 style matches.
 
I verified things with my 71 vert here. This pillar cover lines up to my vert factory screw hole. You just trim it to fit your car. Note where the screw hole is. The hole is roughly 5 inches from the highest point of the base.
