Yeah, a set of 70-71 rallye gauges, PLUS a decent pad for $1k is a SCREAMING deal. If it has a harness, that's more than double the value all told.

There's someone near my home in the Pittsburgh PA area that is selling a 1970 Challenger no-cracks black dash pad for $895 and a 1971-1974 green dash pad also for $895 in the Pittsburgh Craigslist Auto Parts section:

MOPAR 1970 challenger dash pad nice no cracks

The same person has another Craigslist ad selling a 1971-1974 A/C complete dash with 7K tach and wiring harness for $2200!

MOPAR 71-74 dodge challenger AC complete dash

I'm not sure if this is what they're going for but I couldn't bring myself to pay that much for them, lol! I'll live with my one-crack dash pad. As we all know it's worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. At any rate if you all have any pads/dashes they seem to be worth their weight in gold!
