Hi all, anyone got shorty sparkplug numbers for a 73 340?
Also (sorry, I know spark plug conversations are a pain) i'm running headers. When I changed plugs last time the 2 that are "boxed in" by the header (driver side rear) were very dirty. I do have slight detonation under power even with...
Looking to replace all 4 headlight buckets on my 73 Challenger. Year One has some, but the LH look much different than the RH. Any other vendors? Links or PN would be appreciated.
Appreciate the feedback from y'all! I got the Lokar kickdown cable installed and calibrated today and ya...no more soft shifts, very crisp shifts and at what I would consider a normal RPM range.
I'm not transmission guy but the shifts felt to soft so I kept a real light foot, lifted off the...
Been off for a few days... appreciate all the feedback. Ordered the LOKAR cable and will be getting in soon...before driving it.
1972CudaV21 - Boom! :-) He had a 69 Camaro, early 70s vette and a late 60's Ford F100 in his stable.
I've got a 73 Challeger i'm going to put a shift kit in (vendor recommendations welcome). It currently doesn't have a kickdown cable/linkage (vendor recommendations welcome). Will I need one? Thanks much!
Didn't find any... at around $100 bucks i'll probably just get a new one and maintain it properly. My main interest was in avoiding rust issues down the road, but proper maintenance is probably the best preventative.
Glad to have the opinions before I order the tank. I'd rather hear it from someone with experience than to burn the cash/time making the mistake myself. Thanks again!
Anyone making poly/plastic replacement fuel tanks for e-bodies? The aftermarket steel/zinc ones are inexpensive enough but I like to do things once. Seems like those poly tanks would last forever.
Ya i'd love to have the FITech six pack setup but there aren't any manifolds, not even the repops. If I had the know how, i'd make a 3D printer model of one and look into casting them.
Has anyone installed 3 point seat belts in the front and rear?
Kits for the front look like a direct bolt in. But has anyone put them in the rear?
I've got a 4 year old who will need a booster seat for the next 4 years and those require a 3 point harness.
Looking for links / advice. Appreciate it!
True, i'm not going to drive it in the rain that much, but might get caught. I was mostly putting them back on because I have a 4 year old and a wife that likes to "clean" LOL. I figure they can't get lost if they are on the car. You're right about that spring...very strong, it probably wouln't...
