I considered it. But only the front quarter of the passenger side was rusty and the tunnel was about flawless and the 4speed hump takes a bit out of it anyways. I don't mind a little extra work to keep as much original sheet metal as I can. I agree that it definitely would have been easier though.

My left floor is now tacked into place, and all of my front suspension has been painted. Any advice on good strut rods? Mine are pretty rough and I have put the strength plates on the lower control arms and have QA1 upper control arms, so I might as well go for a little better strut arm as well...

Seeking advice! I am about to order bushings for my lower control arms. My pivot shafts are in great shape and so are the shells, is it okay to run the original shafts in poly bushings if I grease them correctly? Or do I need to order a kit with greaseable shafts?

Hey guys. Both of my inner fender Wells were detached from the cowl when I got it. Replacing the brackets there now. Can someone provide me the measurement between the upper hole of the inner fender to cowl brackets? I need the measurement between the hole I'm pointing at here, to the same...

Just an update on this. I ordered and installed another AMD Shock Tower. They told me to mount it how they send it and that the bad measurement has not posed any problems. I thought I would share a picture to show what I saw when I got the shock tower and why I thought it should be approached...

I can get the inner fender well in the correct position, the shock tower will just clearly be crooked. I think that is the case, I may order another shock tower from another company and see how the measurements come on it.

I am not sure how this has gone unnoticed, it must not be too vital to suspension....BUT: I ordered both of my shock towers for my '70 Barracuda and I installed my right hand first because i have to do my left frame rail as well. I took way too many measurements before cutting the tower off...

Finished up the right frame patch. Hoping to get the shock tower welded in tonight or tomorrow.
