I owned that car until the early 90s...The trans was original when I sold it.As for the trans It could have been damaged with the floor pans & replaced from Mopar parts through a dealer thus no Vin .

Original door was smashed by someone who didn't know how to drive (hit and run). This occurred in the late 70s, when it was just an 8 year old Plymouth. Back then, originality was not a thing. I just bought one from a junk yard. It couldn't have been saved anyway..Door and fender tag don't match. One is for a 1970 car, door jamb, fender tag is from a 71. 70 is 383 car and fender tag is for a 340 car.
Are you serious? Please let me know if you still have the parts, I'd be willing to purchase em from you.Do you have this car? I owned it for 15+ years. I can clear up the door VIN issue for you. Where is it now? I have the original Thermoquad and the original dual point distributor...I hated that thing! Would love to hear about it.

Ouch! The stories I could tell... I hope you are successful in bringing it back.
Got the inside done, now working on the outside. It was restored back in the early 90's by someone and now I'm taking it the rest of the way. Hopefully have it done by Veteran's day.Ouch! The stories I could tell... I hope you are successful in bringing it back.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work anymore. There were some Ford speakers in the rear also and the center speaker was a bit rough and needs rebuilding. Rather than spending the $ on the rebuilds, I put in the aftermarket bluetuth Antique Audio unit and new speakers.
