My '73 cuda needs a new window roller bushing on the driver's side. I have ordered this kit with the intention of just changing the bad roller bushing now and taking the door apart over the winter.
As you can see the the kit includes screw-in type roller bushings, However, my current bushings aren't screw in, but more like pressed in. My car has a non-original driver's door, as indicated by the blue overspray under the door panel. When i looked at the passenger side, it had the same type bushing but still had original GK6 paint overspray under the door panel.
Question: Has anyone one used the Classic Industries kit and how did you replace the roller bushings?
Side note: The driver's side outer window trim felt has been pop-riveted in, so I would have to drill them out to remove the window/register assembly. Didn't want to get that deep into it until the winter.
Thanks for any insight.
