Disc brake conversion

I,m doing a disc brake conversion on my 70 cuda, the 2 studs on the column that come through the firewall on the reinforcement plate hit the booster. should I pull the column and remove those 2 studs? any ideas would be appreciated

Yes, I pulled the studs when I converted mine. If I remember correctly, I didn’t pull the column. I was able to grab the studs from the engine bay and rock them to get them loose.
