What is everyone's favorite stripe? The rump stripe, the Longitudinal stripe, the T/A stripe, the 71' R/T stripe, or no stripes at all?

If pressed, I'd go with a longitudinal stripe because it really accents the ridge on the Challenger and how it sweeps up on the rear quarters. But certain colors look really good with the "rump" stripe.

The rump stripe was always my least favorite, but since my red Challenger has one. It has grown on me over time. I know minor, but what bugs me about it is how the rear side marker lights and rear bumper are diagonal and the stripe goes vertically right between them.

I'll add that as a guy that has only owned Plymouths from this time frame, I've always been a bit jealous of all the cool tail stripe options that Dodge had back then.

As an owner of a 70 Challenger and 72 Barracuda, I have to say the Challenger with its curve in the quarter panel just looks sexier to me! And the longitudinal (or body side moulding) just accents that curve. I actually think my son's 2015 Scat Pack as the better rear stripe.

Longitudinal,
Rump is nice, but only works without the T/A spoiler, and that is mandatory.
Don't bring up the pedestal spoiler, hideous!

Agreed, everything has a go wing or gull wing these days. Looks like some sort of Auto Zone Ricer bolt on.

Rump stripe is the least favorite of mine overall. The longitudinal r/t stripe looks good. Kind of like the T/A stripe too. Also think the 72-74 vent stripes look good.

Given the kick up feature in the quarters, I've always been disappointed that Dodge didn't offer something like the Plymouth strobe that highlighted that feature, or something like the Super Bee C stripe that could wrap around it.

Now, when paint is done on my Challenger, I doubt I'll stripe it at all unless I do the appropriate '74 fender vents, which is doesn't have currently.

Same topic, different subject. I’ve been going back and forth whether to do a black hockey stick with the 383 call-out, or leave it as is. All opinions, comments and suggestions are welcome!
