Restored year one dash pad issues.

The passenger side heater vent is drooped, will this straighten out once installed in the car? car is out for paint, not sure what surface it sits on

Metal or fiberglass based pad?
It lays across the metal frame, it might straighten out.
If it is fiberglass, you got longer term problems.
